I have yet to see a game in which there are shops you can actually work at, for instance you have a food shop where you can get a job at to earn some cash. But here's the interesting part, you can gain higher ranks and get better jobs the more you so so you do a job, get the money for your help, and get + 1 Food store career point (to follow on from my example).
